A: The rules of craigslist say no breeding or pet sales. However, if you put only a $20 fee on there it should be fine. I am sure you will get flagged, but you can just repost it.

First thing you have to make a account with them. Then once you make an account you have to log into your account and and then go to your account page. Up at the top there is a place where is says post new add in “the are you are in”. Click that then it will bring you up on another page, you will want to click comminuty and then click on pets. Then you can write out your add and put pics on it. You should down size the pics if there is more than two or it wont load then.

I tried it by going to just the post botton one time and it never put up my post. I would just make an account up. Its really easy and a good way to sell things.

A: You do not want to raise a dog to be a “protector”, as this can create behavioral problems, like aggression. It is your job to protect your baby and home. A dog is a family companion, not a guard. Install a home security system if you are worried about an intruder entering your home.

A: Wow! I can see how a German Shepard and Husky are alike…maybe even a Boxer…but a Westie too? What type of dog are you really looking for? A large breed or a small terrier?

Also you didn’t say what type of mistake you made. Did you hurt the first dog you had? Did you not take care of it? Did you break a rule that wasn’t dog related and your mom just got rid of the dog to punish you?

If you are still at your mom’s house you need to make sure it is OK with her to get one and that she is not going to get rid of the dog if you misbehave or break rules because it is unfair to the dog.

I would recommend that if you and your mom has worked it all out together about the rules and responsibilities for the dog that you go to a shelter or rescue. You can find many cool dogs that need good homes. You might find the breed that you are looking for.

Please if you messed up from your last dog, learn from the mistake and make sure that you are totally wiling to take care of the new one.

Q: BOXER PUPPIES FOR SALE!!!?
My neighbor had a dog that had 9 boxer puppies. They have had them for 2.5 months now and only sold 6 the other 3 they are going to sell at the flee market for $125. I am afraid that the puppies are going to be abused so I am going to make the buyers sign a contract. Do you think that what I am doing (about the contract) is stupid? If so what else can I do to make sure that the dogs are safe and go to a good home? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

A: Of course they will be ‘abused’ – they will be neglected as they were breed by an ignorant and irresponsible back yard greeder… you can’t fix that – YOU can’t get any buyers to sign contracts – they are not YOUR dog – yes, what you are planning on doing is stupid – you are simply trying to make yourself feel better about your supporting of this person’s irresponsible activities. YOU can’t make sure they go to a good, safe home – they will end up adding to the millions in the body piles – that is a given. Instead offer to pay for the neutering of your neighbor’s dogs so that they don’t continue to make puppies – see if you can get them to take the remaining puppies to area breed rescue for proper homing.

You can’t fix stupid and irresponsible…

I am looking for a companion for my neutered male boxer. I live in southern WV. I would prefer a female boxer (doesn’t have to be spayed) adult or puppy, but would consider other breeds, particularly smaller ones.
