Q: Do white boxer puppies have any specific needs or problems?
A: sometimes all white boxers can be deaf, a your vet should have a machine that can tell you, or when they are fast a sleep bang two pots together in another room adn see if he wakes up and comes to chek out the comossion. Next the sun it bad. SPF15-30(people kind works) buy it by bulk, all year you need to smear it on the nose ears, head any place with really thin hair, if he/she is out a long time (all day) you’ll need to reapply, (every 4-5 hours).**Trust me** other then that, you might want to keep and eye out for puppy mange (common in short coated dogs). Distemper parvo shots, rabies shot the usual
Q: Are all white puppies with blue eyes deaf?
I have an all white Old English Bulldog puppy and he is deaf and I was looking into getting an all white Boxer puppy I found in a shelter. He is deaf too! Are all white puppies with blue eyes deaf??
A: I have found that if the dog is meant to be white, blue eyes do not dictate deafness. However, if it is uncommon like the boxer & bulldog to be all white, it’s a pretty good bet they are deaf. Other breeds that are prone to deafness are the dalmation & jack russel terrier. I’ve had 2 deaf dogs, 1 due to age & 1 born that way. Once you get them trained, they are great pets. Not very good watch dogs though!
Since you are becoming so good at working with deaf dogs, maybe you should look into training other dog owners that find themselves in the same situation. Congrats for being such a good role model.
Q: Can a boxer puppy with a white unregistered parent get registered?
I have a female boxer that is registered and a white male boxer that isn’t registered (you can’t register white boxers). They had puppies that aren’t all white. Can I register them even though the father isn’t registered?
A: Sure, CKC (Continental Kennel Club) will register your gold fish as a Boxer as long as you pay them.
Q: Is it true, white boxer puppies have are prone to being deaf and blind ? If so, why?
A: It’s a genetic mutation. Somehow the gene for the color white is tied to the genes for deafness & blindness.
Q: What’s a good name for a male white boxer puppy?
A: Here’s a great site with thousands of dog names for you to choose from http://dogbreedz.com/dognames

Q: why cant you kc register a white boxer?
hi i have just brought a white boxer puppy and was told i didnt have papers for her as she was white and its an unrecognised colour is this true thanks
A: Yes, it is true. This is the same for German Shepherds too. 95% of breeder who get a white out of the litter will kill it as soon as it is born. You are so lucky to have a white out of a breed.
It is so sad that people will do that to such pretty animals.
Q: can a white boxer puppy be registered Continental kennel club if both parents are CKC?
A: should be
Q: Where can i buy a reverse sealed “black” Boxer puppy in Southern California?
I don’t want to have a puppy shipped to me from another state, does anyone know of a boxer breeder in Southern California. I’m looking for a reverse brindle, sealed brindle, black & white boxer puppy- whatever the technical name is.I will drive almost anywhere in California to pick the puppy up.
A: There is no such thing as a black boxer; the gene for black coat color does not exist in the breed. Brindles are fawn dogs with black stripes ranging from light to very heavy striping that gives the *appearance* of a black dog with fawn stripes (hence the term “reverse brindle”). It is possible for brindles to be so heavily striped that only shimmers of fawn are visible, but NEVER will the coat be jet black. It can be very close, but that is extremely rare to see a boxer so dark that it is difficult to tell whether it is pure black or just heavily striped. I have never seen one like that in person.
One thing you SHOULD keep in mind: a breeder advertising “black boxers” should be avoided like the plague. A good breeder would NEVER describe his/her boxers as black. In fact, on BoxerWorld where I am a member, any talk of black boxers is forbidden; they do not exist. If you find someone selling black boxers, it is either a BYB with very dark brindle dogs who is using their “rare color” as a marketing ploy; or, a BYB breeding “black boxers” which he may or may not call “sealed brindles” (remember, even the darkest brindles will have at least a hint of fawn coloring). A jet black dog that looks like a boxer is actually a boxer mix (probably with an AmStaff, but that’s just my guess). And yes, some of them do look identical to boxers in build.
Find a reputable breeder that shows their dogs and performs HEALTH TESTING on breeding dogs. I cannot stress the importance of health testing enough. I love this breed to death, but they are prone to a number of health issues, many of them life-threatening, and it is well worth it to pay the extra cash for a well bred dog from healthy stock.

Q: White Boxer- what health problems should be checked for?
A friend of ours just picked up an all white boxer puppy this weekend- I did try to discourage him, and we also told him to make sure its not deaf- I don’t know too much about boxers myself, but I know they’re not supposed to be white, what else should he have the dog checked for?
Unfortunately, I think he got hoodwinked….I’m sure its a pretty dog, but I can just picture the unscrupulous seller….”Rare white boxer!” I just hope its healthy, he just lost his last one to cancer.
Aaaarrgghh….as I suspected, it turns out he was getting this puppy from a pet store….he went to pick the white puppy up, and its eyes were all puffy and goopy, and it had a runny nose, so they settled on a brindle pup (from the same g*d awful store), brought it home and spent the weekend dealing with vomiting, diarreah, and a very sick puppy that wouldn’t even drink water, off to their vet who couldn’t find anything wrong with it (?!!!!), doesn’t think its parvo since it’s allegedly vaccinated, took it back to the store, and they are taking it to their vet (who probably operates out of a van in an alley somewhere). As of now, I just hope he walks away from the whole nightmare so I can put him with a real boxer breeder that I know, not a retailer for a puppy mill. Thanks everyone for your input.
A: It used to be common practice to kill white Boxer pups until they discovered that there is a 20% chance of a white pup in a litter. Yes, they are prone to deafness, but even then they make great pets!
Be careful of their skin. All dogs with thin fur that is white are susceptible to sunburn. Applying a dog sunscreen before exposure to sun is important.
I would love to add a Boxer to my pack, if I can find a white one! They are beautiful and many of them have black or brown spots that develop as they grow. I call them freckles!
Q: What colour do you think my boxer puppies will be?
My 2 year old boxer is having her first litter of puppies and i was wondering what colours i would end up with.
Shes white but she has a largeish brindle patch on her back leg.
The male is red and white.
What do you think and if you think there will be any white ones how many do you think??
A: Good God, white boxers should NOT be bred EVER due to their increased risk for deafness. Unfortunately you will probably get a lot of white puppies out of this litter, if not all white. Please screen each one carefully for deafness before you place them in a new home, and DO NOT breed your dog again!

Q: How much are boxer puppies worth?
My boxer just recently had puppies. 6 of them to be exact, 4 males and 2 females and one of the females is pure white? How much should I sell each for and should the price on the white one be different?
The father is champion blood and the mother is AKC registered.
A: This could depend on where you live – as well as on factors such as whether the dog’s dam or sire are champions. Of course if you are willing to ship puppies location is less important. You might want to check out other breeder’s websites – as well as places like http://www.puppyfind.com to compare prices on Boxers with similar pedigrees etc.
Q: I am wanting to get a white boxer puppy-will it get along with my 2 year old labradoodle?
I want to get this puppy – but I want to make sure that it will be compatable with my Labradoodle (male) that is 2 1/2 years old. The puppy is also a male. Any replys will be greatly appreciated.
The Labradoodle is a very kind and gentle dog. The white boxer puppy is from a litter of pups that nobody wants and it needs a home. I am not buying this pup-nor is it from a breeder. This whole litter was abandened by their mother after 1-1/2 weeks of nursing (unknown why), she stopped feeding them and they are being bottle fed. I think by Labradoodle needs a buddy, but I just want to get the best companion (other than me) for him. He is not neutered.
A: Most dogs will get along with other dogs if you introduce them properly.
Do not leave them alone together right away. Have a crate for the puppy so you can leave him somewhere safe when you’re not around.
You have no way of knowing which dog will be alpha, but it will probably be your existing dog.
Be sure to pay the proper attention to the old dog when the new dog arrives. Do not just drop the puppy in front of the dog and expect them to become best buddies immediately!
When I introduced my second dog (female) to my existing dog (neutered male) he did not like her. He picked her up in his mouth and threw her. He growled and was not at all happy.
It took almost six months of constant vigilance to work through all the kinks.
Side note: They do not eat in the same space. They have separate crates. They do not sleep together. But they are friends and love to play together. Getting a second dog was a good decision, but it takes effort to make it work.
