Q: Where can I find golden retriever puppies for sale in Washington State?
I’ve been googling for weeks, looking in the papers, and haven’t come across any that aren’t thousands of dollars. I’m also looking for the dark coated golden retrievers. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
I know the difference between backyard breeders and reputable breeders. I’m having trouble seeking reputable breeders. I know golden retrievers don’t need to be thousands of dollars either, unless I’m looking for champion bloodlines. I own a golden currently but that was through a friend of a friend.
A: Unfortunately, you’re not going to find a well-bred, healthy puppy in a newspaper or craigslist. You need to visit the breed club and contact breeders from there. http://www.grca.org/allabout/a_find5.html
What you’re looking for, at the VERY least, is a breeder who shows/works their dogs and thus titles them, and furthermore has all of their dogs screened for genetic disease (you’ll notice that by CERF, OFA or PennHip by the dog’s show win photographs, most likely). Those dogs will set you back $1,000 or more, but that is the biggest expense you’ll have, because you’re buying a healthy dog that won’t need knee surgery or cancer treatments in a few years.
Anyone else is just a backyard breeder or puppy mill, breeding dogs that may or may not resemble a golden retriever, breeding all dogs regardless of health or titles, etc. Those dogs are cheap at first but then the medical bills start coming. Never mind it breaks your heart to watch your friend become crippled due to a fatal, painful congenital disease.
As far as color, goldens ran the gamut between a creamy white and a dark copper; it really just depends upon genetics. A good breeder will be able to refer you to another breeder that has the look you’re after if they don’t have a puppy that suits you.
Best of luck to you, and I hope this is helpful!

Q: does any one have a golden retriever for sale?
does anyone have a golden retriever for sale between 1-3 years of age? anywhere in the USA(can be shipped) i live in DC so ya…

Q: I have a 10 week old Golden Retriever For Sale. Does Anyone know how i can sell her?
I bought my 3 1/2 year old a golden retriever. He begged me for a puppy. Well hes allergic to dogs…ugh!! SO im trying to get rid of her ASAP! Does anyone have suggestions where i can sell her. I like in OKC, OK. HELP!!!!! SHes a great puppy. Shes potty trained. Loves to play and shes great with kids. I just cant keep her and i need to sell her soon!!!!
A: Awe its awful that you have to get rid of your puppy! I have a golden and shes the best dog I’ve ever had! Have you tried treating the human instead of getting rid of the dog? I’d love to have another golden but I don’t live in your area and I don’t think my house is big enough to have two anyways. My next thought is maybe you should think about getting a short hair dog or a bog that doesn’t shed much. I know that I probably shouldn’t, but with my golden I shave her to keep down the hair and I have allergies also but keeping her clipped in the summer seems to help. Plus I think she likes it when here hair is short. With Golden’s they shed year around and the hair is insane but if you take her to a groomer you should be able to have them do a shed-less treatment on her and it will help. Another thing you can do to help with allergies is buy some air cleaners and put one in every room in your house. The TruAir air cleaners are great because they are small and plug into an outlet and they are not very expensive. Good Luck and I hope she goes to a good home when and if you get rid of her.
Q: Does anyone in Wisconsin have Golden Retriever puppies for sale?
I want on that will be light in color, raised indoors and ready to go to a new home in December.
A: I highly recommend that you repeat this search in December
http://search.petfinder.com/search/search.cgi?pet.Animal=Dog&pet.Breed=Golden&pet.Age=&pet.Size=&pet.Sex=&location=WI
Most of these puppies and dogs have been house and obedience trained already, and you don’t have to worry about doing all that yourself. Puppies don’t stay puppies forever, they grow up into big pets, and pets are a long commitment and not just a temporary Christmas present that you give away when you become tired of it.
If you get a Golden at a shelter, you’ll be saving a life and money too.
Q: Can anybody help me find golden retriever puppies for sale?
I have looked all over and I can’t find any suitable ones. I’m looking for a purbred female, between $300-$500, between 6-8 weeks, and in the southern california area. If you know of any sites or a specific person/breeder, that would be greatly appreciated as soon as possible. Thank you!
A: i found my akc registered female at 7 weeks in my local paper for $450 by putting a ad in there…i prefer purebreds not bred by kennel club breed standards to many health problems in them…
Q: How to find golden retrievers for sale?
I have tried petfinder and there are non at the shelters around my area. I was looking at reputable breeders online and I think it is ridiculous to spend $400+ on a dog.
I would rather rescue one but don’t want to get it from a backyard breeder or anything.
Anyone have tips on finding a golden retriever?
Thanks!
well i know $400 isn’t expensive..i would just prefer to rescue.
But thanks for the suggestions!
A: This is a great Golden rescue in Minnesota: http://ragom.org/
here’s a link to the national club’s rescue page: http://www.grca-nrc.org/
You should expect to pay between $140 and $400 to adopt from rescue, as well. To purchase a decent quality Golden, prices may start at $400, but will likely run more like $700-$1200 on average.
Q: Golden Retriever for Sale in Toronto?
I have a 5 month old Golden Retreiver ,little puppy
Valentino, who is in need for a new caring home. He is
a well mannered little gentleman, playful, potty
trained; all vaccinations and deworming has been
completed.
Please call Carol at 4168343025,pricing is negotiable
if you are interested or looking for any further
information
A: Well, if you’re looking to buy a Golden Retreiver in Toronto, I would suggest looking up breeders on the internet. The pet store, although a lot of people don’t like it, is not bad either since you can save a nice young pup from the mistreatment they usualy recieve in those stores.
Q: I want to sale my Golden Retriever. Where can I sale him at?
The reason i want to sale him is because he does a lot of messy things in my house and he doesn’t listen his barely 3 months and i want $500 for him his a male..
A: Return him to his breeder. You probably have a contract requiring it, anyway, if you bought him from a decent breeder. 3 month old puppies don’t listen, ever. And they are very messy. Oh, and may I recommend perhaps that you don’t get any more dogs? It doesn’t sound like you have a clue about them.
Q: Does anyone have cheap golden retriever pups for sale?
A: why would you buy from someone on the internet that you can’t go and check out puppies and parents and such? check locally craigslist for dogs being rehomed or livedeal or kiiji or local ads
did you find your pup?????
Q: Golden Retriever for sale Victoria Australia?
My baby golden retriever needs a new home. I’m asking you guys if anybody wants my 2 year old angel. Her name is Molly and she is loyal, great with kids and just great company.
I have a new job in the city and a house without a back yard or the time to look after her.
It is a decision i now regret taking the job but please if you have a loving home molly is great with kids and she would love to accompany you.
Thankyou.
I dont want to give molly to a shelter even though she would go to a good home. I want to meet the people she is going to so i can ensure a great household will be given to my dog.
A: Hey- A tip, Have you heard of Keysborough Animal Shelter? There long stays shelter so your dog will have good chance of finding a home. They do the best to pick the perfect new family for your dog, I see cats there for 8month+ and I know the dog are kept for awhile too. They make sure they go to good homes!
http://www.aaps.org.au/successstories/success_fortynine.html
The AAPS is an animal shelter located at 10 Homeleigh Road, Keysborough, 3173, Victoria, Australia – ph (03)9798-8415 or (03)9798-8044 – fax (03)9769-0317

If you surrend to RSPCA they only have 36days adoption period.they will be put down after that period if they haven’t found a home
Advertise in the newspaper-but Not many people are going to want 2yr old dog from a newspaper, People will go for puppies, where as people looking for adult dogs will go to the shelter and not look in the newspaper.
Q: golden retriever puppies for sale?
does anybody know where my family can find a good golden retriever breeder?
p.s.
i live in minnesota
A: I am sorry, I don’t know of any breeders in Minnesota, but I can tell you about a FANTASTIC place to look for Goldens: Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota. http://ragom.org/avail.cgi/Available/index , these people do a wonderful job with rescued Goldens, they have all ages available, most are purebred, and many have hunting backgrounds. A majority of their dogs are already potty and obedience trained, and make wonderful pets. A friend of mine adopted from here, a 7 year old (she went looking for a puppy and fell in love with an adult)…she is SO happy with her dog, as well as the people at RAGOM.
Even if you are very firm in your desire for a puppy, talk to these people! They’re happy to discuss the breed with you (they MAY even have referral for a good breeder, if you ask) They often have puppies available. You’ve chosen a wonderful breed, good luck in your search!

Q: Golden retriever for sale?
My dad is thinking about getting me a dog for graduation and i was thinking about a price at $400 or less. We live in Atlanta Illinois. It’s hard to find breeders on the internet because all that comes up is Atlanta Georgia or just Illinois. It can be in a animal shelter or it can be at a breeders home. I graduate May 24th so an answer before then would be great. Thanks (:
A: Contact a reputable breeder via the Golden Reriever Breed Club website, or contact a reputable breed rescue. Do your homework and find a reputable breeder / or breed rescue before you choose your dog or puppy. Be prepared to wait for the right one. Good luck.
Chez, you are extremely rude and ignorant, THIS IS A MULTI-NATIONAL SITE. Not just a site for rude English people (I am also English BTW).
